Hit And Run North Carolina Today in Charlotte, North Carolina: A GMC Yukon left the roadway and crashed into a home off Plyler Mill Road in Union County, North Carolina, on Sunday, June 28, 2026. The family was inside the home at the time and was sitting feet away from where the vehicle entered the residence, though no one was injured. Gustavo Sanchez and Naesha Baucom, who were in the Yukon, ran from the home after the crash. Sanchez was charged with felony hit-and-run and driving while license revoked.
