Kennedy International Airport on Monday morning. The plane, JetBlue flight 948, landed safely at Terminal 5 with no injuries to passengers, pilots, or crew, and a post-flight inspection found no damage. Later the same day, a helicopter pilot reported nearly colliding with a remote-controlled airplane near Floyd Bennett Field. The FAA said it is investigating both incidents and has notified local authorities about the RC plane report.
