Bicycle Crash Ellicott City Maryland in Ellicott City, Maryland: A girl riding a bicycle was killed after falling into the path of an oncoming dump truck in Ellicott City, according to Howard County police. Officers were called around 1:55 p.m. Tuesday to the 2000 block of Daniels Road in a wooded area near the Patapsco River. Police said the girl fell off the bicycle and was fatally struck by the dump truck. The truck's driver remained at the scene and an investigation continues.
