Assault Fairhaven Massachusetts in Fairhaven, Massachusetts: Fairhaven Police and EMS responded to the area of 34 Middle Street in Fairhaven, Massachusetts at about 10:45 a.m. on July 1, 2026, for a report of a man who had been stabbed. Officers found a 55-year-old man bleeding from multiple stab wounds; he was taken to an area hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition. Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III identified the suspect as Keira Colon, 42, the victim's boyfriend, who had recently moved into 60 Middle Street. Colon was arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder and two counts of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, and was scheduled for arraignment on July 2 in New Bedford District Court.
