Ebike Crash Fremont California in Fremont, California: A 47-year-old electric bike rider, Sostan Samuel Jacks II, was killed in a collision with a car near the on-ramp to Interstate Highway 880 in Fremont on Saturday at about 4:30 p.m. The woman driving the car was turning west on Auto Mall Parkway into a right-turn lane to access northbound I-880 when Jacks, riding east in the westbound bike lane at the on-ramp entrance, collided with her vehicle. Jacks suffered head trauma and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver was not injured and cooperated with investigators.
