DWI driver arrested after 18-wheeler crash kills semi drive…

Dui Crash Williamson Texas in Williamson, Texas: A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Chandler Road and the SH-130 frontage road in Williamson County on June 29, 2026, killed 59-year-old semi-truck driver Eric Fields. An Audi SUV traveling westbound on Chandler Road attempted to turn left onto the southbound SH-130 frontage road and collided with an eastbound semi-truck, causing the semi to strike a bridge barrier, leave the overpass, and land on the main lanes of southbound SH-130. The Audi driver, 38-year-old Rayford Washington, and two child passengers, ages 9 and 5, were transported to an area hospital for evaluation of possible minor injuries. Washington was arrested by Texas DPS troopers and booked into the Williamson County Jail on one charge of Driving While Intoxicated with a child under 15, a state jail felony.
