Car Crash Alpine Wyoming in Alpine, Wyoming: A driver lost control of a Ford F-250 pickup truck on US 89 in Alpine, Wyoming, drifted into the northbound lane, struck the side of a car hauler, crashed through a guardrail, rolled two to three times down an embankment, and landed in the Snake River. The driver was able to exit the vehicle on their own, was helped by first responders, and was taken to a hospital in Alpine with minor cuts and bruises. Wyoming Highway Patrol credited the driver's seatbelt for their survival and cited the driver for failure to maintain lane.
