Shooting S Cloverdale Washington in S Cloverdale, Washington: On June 29, 2026, at approximately 6 p.m., Washington State Patrol received a 9-1-1 call from a driver reporting they had been shot at on southbound SR 509 near the S. Cloverdale Street exit. The victim, driving a 2013 Dodge Ram pickup, said a red Jeep pulled alongside the driver's side and a rear male passenger made hand gestures before firing a handgun at the vehicle. The victim was not injured and exited the freeway to wait for a trooper. The suspect vehicle, described as having a female driver and a female front passenger, continued south on SR 509. Detectives are seeking tips to identify the suspect vehicle.
