Concrete truck overturns near Parksley on Hopeton Road

Car Crash Accomack Virginia in Accomack, Virginia: A concrete truck overturned in Accomack County near Parksley, Virginia on June 29 at about 11:15 a.m., spilling concrete and blocking both lanes of travel at Hopeton Road and Christine Lane. The Parksley Volunteer Fire Company and Bloxom Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene. The driver safely exited the vehicle before EMS arrived and was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The roadway was closed for about three hours while crews removed the truck and cleared the concrete.
