Car Crash New York Today in New York: A coach bus traveling westbound on the Long Island Expressway collided with a second vehicle and then a third, causing the bus to flip over the median strip into the eastbound lanes where two more vehicles struck it. Two bus passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, including the 35-year-old male driver and an unidentified passenger. Fifteen other bus passengers were taken to hospitals in stable condition with minor injuries. The NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the crash, which occurred near the Greenpoint Avenue exit around 11:45 p.m. on Monday.
