Body of 25-year-old Brockton woman recovered from Long Pond…

Drowning Lakeville Massachusetts in Lakeville, Massachusetts: First responders pulled the body of a missing jet skier from Long Pond in Lakeville early on July 1, 2026. Lakeville Police and Fire responded at about 6 p.m. on June 30 to reports that a passenger had fallen from a jet ski near Nelson Island and Big Beach. The victim was later identified as Daisha Murphy, 25, of Brockton. The investigation remains ongoing by Lakeville Police, Environmental Police, and State Police detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.
