Sports in Phoenix, Arizona: Phoenix police were called Thursday night to an area near a canal and found 33-year-old Aaron Goodyke dead in a wheelchair with his hands and chest tied to it with plastic bags. After investigating, police arrested 41-year-old Hector Corrales on suspicion of kidnapping and first-degree murder. According to police documents, witnesses saw Goodyke tied up and mumbling earlier that evening, and a second unidentified man allegedly helped Corrales restrain Goodyke before wheeling him toward the canal, where he was later found dead. Goodyke was diabetic and had one leg amputated earlier in the year.
