Sports in Las Vegas, Nevada: Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded Tuesday night to a head-on collision on Alexander Road above Interstate 11 in which one of the vehicles caught fire. At least one person involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital. Drivers were advised to avoid the area as traffic officers investigated the scene.
