Hit And Run Jacksonville Florida in Jacksonville, Florida: A 70-year-old man was struck by a Toyota Camry driven by a 62-year-old Jacksonville man while crossing the entrance ramp from Merrill Road to eastbound Interstate 295 in Jacksonville, Florida, at about 9:14 p.m. Tuesday. After being thrown onto the grass shoulder, the pedestrian was then run over by a Ford F-150 driven by a 47-year-old Jacksonville man who pulled onto the shoulder in an attempt to assist the Camry driver. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
