Car Crash P.M New York in p.m, New York: On June 30, 2026, at approximately 5:56 p.m., New York State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 9N and Bridge Road in the town of Crown Point. A westbound 2019 Toyota Prius operated by Larry J. Smith, 69, of Baltimore, Maryland, entered the intersection and collided with a northbound 2012 Toyota Highlander operated by Charles A. Robertson, 48, of Port Henry. Smith sustained severe injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. His passenger, Ruth E. Smith, 62, was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center in critical condition. Robertson and his passengers, Brandon J. Chappell and Ryan P. Boepple, were transported to Moses-Ludington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
