Vehicle Fire Westminster South Carolina in Westminster, South Carolina: A house fire near Westminster, South Carolina, on Wednesday morning left one person dead. The Oconee County Emergency Services director said the fire was reported on Chauga Valley Road near Cobb Bridge Road about 1 a.m. About 40 firefighters from the Holly Springs Fire Department responded and found the victim dead in a bedroom after extinguishing the fire. The victim was identified as 61-year-old Kelle Renee McCracken, and the cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation by SLED Fire Investigations, the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, and Oconee Fire Emergency Services.
