Car Crash California Today in California: A 25-year-old man from Madera driving a green 2000 Toyota Tacoma northbound on Road 19 failed to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection of Avenue 18 1/2 and Road 19 and entered the path of a westbound silver 2022 Hyundai Tucson. The Hyundai struck the right side of the Toyota, and both vehicles overturned into a nearby orchard. The Toyota driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hyundai driver was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. California Highway Patrol Madera officers responded to the crash.
