Drowning Steilacoom Washington in Steilacoom, Washington: A 23-year-old Tacoma man, identified as Haley Hicks, died after a diving emergency at Sunnyside Beach in Steilacoom on Friday, June 26, 2026, at about 12:04 p.m. Initial reports indicated the diver suffered an emergency in the water and was found unresponsive.
