Hit And Run Lake Mary Florida in Lake Mary, Florida: A 42-year-old woman, identified as Danielle Akers of Oviedo, was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash just before 11 p.m. near W. Lake Mary Boulevard and Wheelhouse Lane in Lake Mary, Florida. Witnesses told 911 dispatch that the driver of a silver car fled the scene. Police located the suspect vehicle less than half a mile away near W. Lake Mary Boulevard and Forest Boulevard and arrested 22-year-old O'Vante O'Lan Redding of Longwood after midnight. Redding was transported to the Seminole County jail and is charged with DUI manslaughter, leaving the scene of a crash involving death, and vehicular homicide.
