Car Crash Atascocita Texas in Atascocita, Texas: A 19-year-old bakery employee, Zion Branch, was killed on June 30, 2026, when a Ram 1500 truck crashed through the storefront of Nothing Bundt Cakes at 19250 W Lake Houston Parkway in Atascocita, Texas. Deputies said the driver's foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator while turning into a parking stall, sending the truck through the south wall and entrance, striking a customer, and then slamming into the main sales counter where it hit Branch. A third woman inside was injured by flying debris. The driver remained at the scene, cooperated with deputies, and showed no signs of intoxication. The Harris County Sheriff's Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating.
