Car Crash Wyoming Today in Wyoming: A Wyoming driver escaped with only minor injuries after their Ford F-250 pickup truck rolled down an embankment and into the Snake River near Alpine on June 29, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Troopers responded shortly after noon near mile marker 124 on U.S. Highway 89 in Lincoln County. Investigators said the southbound pickup crossed into the northbound lane after the driver lost control, struck the side of a car hauler, scraped along its trailer, then crashed through a guardrail and rolled two to three times before coming to rest upright in the river. The driver got out on their own, was helped by first responders, taken to Alpine for treatment, and released with cuts and bruises. Troopers cited the driver for failure to maintain a lane and credited the seatbelt with the driver's survival.
