Car Crash California Today in California: A 22-year-old Pittsburg man suspected of racing a vehicle on an East Bay highway crashed head-on into a California Highway Patrol vehicle that was stationed to stop him. The CHP officer suffered a minor injury and was treated and released from a hospital. The suspected driver and two passengers were also hospitalized but were reported OK, and the suspect was arrested upon his release from the hospital.
