Dui Crash New York Today in New York: New York State Police identified Carson Williams, 25, of Schenectady, as the driver of a wrong-way car that struck an eastbound Colonie EMS ambulance on the I-90 Exit 6 off-ramp in Albany at about 9 p.m. on Saturday. The ambulance was transporting a patient to Albany Medical Center when the crash occurred. The ambulance driver and onboard paramedic were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and have since been discharged, while the patient was rerouted to Albany Medical Center by another ambulance. Williams remained hospitalized with significant non-life-threatening injuries and was arrested for driving while intoxicated along with several other vehicle and traffic law violations.
