Car Crash Scarborough Maine in Scarborough, Maine: Emily Doyon, 36, of Windham, was driving a Toyota Prius and turned left onto Route 1 from a business complex parking lot when her car was struck by a black Mercedes-Benz. The crash happened at about 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday in Scarborough. Doyon was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland with life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital. A passenger in the Mercedes was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while the 25-year-old Arundel man driving the Mercedes was treated at the scene and released. Both directions of Route 1 between Pleasant Hill Road and Green Acres Lane were shut down for hours.
