She was taken to Hackensack Meridian Health's Palisades Medical Center Emergency Department, where doctors performed open reduction and internal fixation surgery to repair the displaced and unstable fracture. She was discharged the same day with a cast, pain medication, and crutches, and later decided to pursue a career in medicine, receiving an acceptance to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in March 2026.
