Car Crash Tuscaloosa Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama: A two-vehicle crash on June 28, 2026, in Sumter County, Alabama, killed Iesha L. Pritchett, 34, and injured Rolandus S. Ward, 34. Pritchett was driving a 2002 Buick Century that struck a 2023 Nissan Kicks driven by Ward. Pritchett was airlifted to DCH Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead; she was not wearing a seat belt. Ward was taken to Ochsner Rush Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. The crash occurred around 7:29 a.m. on Alabama 17 near Sumter County 42, about 11 miles south of York. Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol are investigating.
