Car Crash Alabama Today in Alabama: Jeremy "Ryan" Lambert, a 16-year-old two-time Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 1A-4A state wrestling champion from Alexandria High School, died following a single-vehicle crash Friday night. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Lambert was critically injured when his 2007 Jeep Cherokee left the roadway near Ohatchee, struck an embankment, and overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, then transported to a local hospital where he did not survive his injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
