Car Crash Island Expressway New York in Island Expressway, New York: A coach bus traveling westbound on the Long Island Expressway struck a vehicle, which then hit another car in front of it, according to police. The impact caused the bus to hit a center divider, flip, and roll into the eastbound lanes, where it collided with two other vehicles. The bus driver and one passenger were pronounced dead, three victims were in critical condition, two others had serious injuries, and 15 people had minor injuries. The crash occurred around 11:45 p.m. ET on Monday near the Greenpoint Avenue exit, and the cause is under investigation.
