Two injured in Wever motorcycle crash on Highway 61

Motorcycle Crash Wever Iowa in Wever, Iowa: Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 61 in Wever on Saturday at around 11:18 p.m. Todd Helmick, 36, of Argyle, was driving a 2017 Harley Davidson southbound when the bike lost control for unknown reasons and crashed. Both Helmick and passenger Ashley Lundeen, 33, of West Burlington, were transported by helicopter to the University of Iowa hospital in Iowa City for treatment. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash, with assistance from the Lee County Sheriff's Office and Lee County EMS.
