Car Crash Benton City Washington in Benton City, Washington: A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 82 near Benton City on Tuesday morning injured a woman and a child. A Dodge Ram pickup hauling a Toyota pickup on a flatbed trailer pulled into the eastbound lanes from the side of the road about 9:40 a.m. between West Richland and Benton City, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Daniel Mosqueda. The driver did not see a white sedan approaching from behind, and the sedan slammed into the back of the trailer. Their injuries were not life-threatening, and eastbound traffic was backed up for more than an hour.
