Car Crash Year-Old Greenwood Michigan in year-old Greenwood, Michigan: A two-vehicle head-on collision in Blendon Township on Monday evening left two people hospitalized with serious injuries. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, a GMC Acadia traveling southbound on 72nd Avenue crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a northbound Chevrolet Colorado that had just turned onto 72nd Avenue from Bauer Road. The 41-year-old Greenwood, Indiana, man driving the Acadia was not injured, while the 29-year-old Hudsonville woman driving the Chevrolet Colorado and a 39-year-old Comstock Park woman passenger suffered serious injuries. First responders from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, Blendon Township Fire Department, and Life EMS were dispatched at approximately 5:37 p.m., and 72nd Avenue was closed between Taylor Street and Polk Street for several hours for accident reconstruction. The cause of the crash remains under active investigation.
