Car Crash Grand Rapids Minnesota in Grand Rapids, Minnesota: A head-on collision on Highway 169, approximately three miles south of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, killed two drivers just before 12:30 p.m. over the weekend. The Minnesota State Patrol said 83-year-old Carole Wiss of Grand Rapids was driving south on Highway 169 when her vehicle was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by 24-year-old McKenna Christensen of Luck, Wisconsin. Both women died at the scene. Residents subsequently launched a Change.org petition calling for a dedicated turning lane on that stretch of Highway 169.
