Texas Teen Drowns While Trying to Save 5-Year-Old Cousin
Drowning Jacksonville Texas in Jacksonville, Texas: A 15-year-old boy identified as Rhilynn Myers drowned in Texas while attempting to rescue his 5-year-old cousin, who has autism, from deeper water after the child on a flotation device drifted out. Authorities were notified around 2:30 p.m. and nearby Good Samaritans pulled the teen from the water, but he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
