The vehicle was attempting a right-hand turn in the parking lot off Madera Road at around 2:30 p.m. Monday when it failed to make the turn and went over the sidewalk. The driver, a 64-year-old woman, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Los Robles Hospital along with a juvenile occupant who suffered minor injuries; three juveniles were in the car at the time. Simi Valley Police said investigators have not yet determined whether the crash was caused by mechanical failure or driver impairment, and there was nothing to indicate drugs or alcohol were a factor.
