Hit And Run Philadelphia Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: A 20-year-old Temple University student riding a 2004 Triumph motorcycle was struck and killed in a hit-and-run in North Philadelphia on June 24, 2026. A white SUV traveling eastbound on Kelly Drive attempted an illegal U-turn onto Reservoir Drive, then tried to return to eastbound lanes and entered the path of the westbound motorcycle. The motorcyclist became lodged under the SUV and was dragged more than a mile from Reservoir Drive to the area of Fountain Green Drive before becoming dislodged. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition with a fractured right leg and extensive road burns and was pronounced dead at 4:41 a.m. Police are still searching for the suspect driver who fled the scene.
