Car Crash Bauer Michigan in Bauer, Michigan: Two women were seriously injured when the pickup truck they were in was struck head-on by an SUV in Blendon Township, Ottawa County, on Monday afternoon just before 5:40 p.m. The SUV driver, a 41-year-old Greenwood, Indiana man, was traveling south on 72nd Avenue near Bauer Road when he crossed the center line and hit the pickup. The 29-year-old pickup driver from Hudsonville and her 39-year-old passenger from Comstock Park were both transported to the hospital with serious injuries; the SUV driver was not hurt. Deputies did not state why the SUV driver crossed the center line and are continuing to investigate.
