Assault Reno Nevada in Reno, Nevada: The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a battery with a deadly weapon at the Nevada Cares Campus Resource Center in Reno on the afternoon of June 30. Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon around 1 p.m. on Line Drive and determined the suspect had stabbed one victim. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, and the suspect was taken into custody. Police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
