Car Crash Mechanicsville Maryland in Mechanicsville, Maryland: On June 30, 2026, at approximately 7:43 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of 27544 Thompson Corner Road in Mechanicsville, Maryland, for a single-vehicle rollover crash with entrapment. 911 callers reported the vehicle had rolled over and the operator appeared trapped, unconscious, and possibly deceased. Police arrived and confirmed a single vehicle off the roadway with the sole occupant deceased. The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the collision.
