Assault Simi Valley California in Simi Valley, California: Rejean Morgan Tabor, 33, of Simi Valley, was charged with attempted murder and other offenses for an alleged strangulation attack on a shopper inside a Simi Valley Target store. According to prosecutors, Tabor approached a female victim from behind and began strangling her while covering her nose and mouth. When other shoppers intervened, Tabor allegedly attacked multiple Good Samaritans, pushing one woman to the ground, and biting, striking, and scratching another. After the victim escaped, Tabor is accused of throwing a glass bottle at a Target loss prevention employee and attacking a 16-year-old customer from behind. Responding officers took Tabor into custody inside the store; he remains in custody with bail set at $750,000 pending a competency hearing scheduled for July 16, 2026.
