Rolla woman killed, man seriously hurt in Phelps County sin…

Car Crash Columbia Missouri in Columbia, Missouri: A woman from Rolla was killed and a Rolla man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Route J in Phelps County on Sunday afternoon around 2:40 p.m. The 2005 Toyota Camry traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, swerved several times, and struck a fence and a tree, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The man was transported by Phelps Health Ambulance to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla with serious injuries. The woman, a passenger, was pronounced dead on scene by the Phelps County coroner. Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.
