Car Crash North Carolina Today in North Carolina: The North Carolina State Highway Patrol arrested Wimandre Anton Hendricks, 33, of Raleigh, on eight charges including felony involuntary manslaughter, misdemeanor death by vehicle, and exceeding safe speed after a fatal crash on Interstate 87 on Sunday night. The crash killed Derick Dewayne Wright and seriously injured Dante Moliek Barnes. Hendricks was also charged with reckless driving, driving without a license, expired/no inspection, and unsafe tires, and he refused a blood alcohol test after the crash, according to court documents.
