Car Crash Exceeding Safe Speed North Carolina in exceeding safe speed, North Carolina: North Carolina State Highway Patrol arrested Wimandre Anton Hendricks, 33, of Raleigh, on eight charges including felony involuntary manslaughter after a fatal crash Sunday night on Interstate 87. The crash killed Derick Dewayne Wright and seriously injured Dante Moliek Barnes. Troopers said Hendricks was driving at a speed greater than reasonable under rainy conditions, was driving without a license, and had expired inspection and unsafe tires. Hendricks refused a blood alcohol test and has prior DWI and driving-while-revoked offenses.
