A 2000 GMC Sierra pickup truck heading south on state Route 16 drifted left into the northbound lane and struck a 2020 Ford F-150. The front passenger of the pickup, who was eight months pregnant, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital via medical helicopter; officials later determined she had lost the baby as a result of the crash.
