Pregnant woman loses baby after pickup drifts into oncoming…

Car Crash Utah Today in Utah: A 2000 GMC Sierra pickup traveling southbound on SR-16 near milepost 23 in Box Elder County, Utah drifted into the northbound lane around 4:32 p.m. on June 28, 2026. The female passenger, who was eight months pregnant, was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital, where the baby was determined to be deceased. The Utah Department of Public Safety believes the driver of the Sierra fell asleep and drifted out of his lane. The crash remains under investigation.
