Shooting North Carolina Today in North Carolina: A United States Postal Service employee, Brandi Byrd Reynolds, was shot and killed on June 26 in Wilkes County, North Carolina, according to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Reynolds died at the scene. Following an investigation, William Craig Durham was arrested. The NCSBI, the Wilkes County Sheriff's Office, and the United States Postal Service are conducting a joint investigation.
