Pedestrian Hit Columbia South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina: A woman was killed Sunday afternoon in Columbia, South Carolina, when she was struck by a vehicle while walking on South Beltline Boulevard near Rosewood Drive. Police said the vehicle was traveling south on South Beltline Boulevard when it hit the woman, throwing her into an embankment. She was transported to Prisma Health Richland Hospital with critical injuries and later died. No arrests had been reported as police continued to investigate and review surveillance footage.
