Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Tractor-Trailer on Station…

Car Crash North Bellport New York in North Bellport, New York: Denis Hernandez, 27, of Bellport, was struck and killed by a southbound tractor-trailer while standing in the road on Station Road just south of Martha Avenue in North Bellport around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25. He was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead. The Suffolk County Police Department identified him on June 30 and said the accident remains under investigation.
