Pedestrian Hit Houston Texas in Houston, Texas: Houston police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred at 13900 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 10:55 p.m. on Sunday, June 29. The driver of a white Hino construction traffic control vehicle, equipped with an arrow board and rear-mounted impact attenuator, was actively working a roadway closure and began reversing the vehicle when it struck a pedestrian. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the 36-year-old male deceased at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
