Pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle on Sycamore…

Pedestrian Hit Kokomo Indiana in Kokomo, Indiana: A 21-year-old pedestrian, later identified as Brisjonta Richmond of Kokomo, was struck by a Chrysler Pacifica traveling eastbound on Sycamore Street in Kokomo, Indiana, around 5:30 a.m. on a Friday earlier this month. Richmond was reportedly riding an electric scooter at the time and was wearing dark, non-reflective clothing; the scooter was not street-legal and lacked proper lighting. He was airlifted to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead by hospital staff. Indiana State Police said alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.
