One occupant killed, another hospitalized after car crashes…

Car Crash Portland Oregon in Portland, Oregon: On June 30, 2026, at approximately 3:27 a.m., Portland Police officers responded to a report of a single-car crash into a pole near Northeast Lombard Street and Northeast 72nd Avenue in the Cully Neighborhood. Officers arrived at 3:40 a.m. and found two vehicle occupants; one was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to a hospital by ambulance. The Portland Police Traffic Division Major Crash Team is investigating the crash, and nearby streets were closed during the investigation.
